I'm calling this "round 1" because I'm sure we're going to hit the orchards again this fall :)
It's going to be a high of 85 here today. That's hot. A little too hot for the end of September, but cooler temps are around the corner and when they show up for good we're headed back to pick more apples and make some a cobbler and pie!!
We went with one of Keaton's little buddies from church.
I wasn't sure how Penn would do, but he followed right along with Carson. Keaton wasn't interested in picking any green apples...he only likes the red 😉
It had rained the day before and so the grass was wet and pretty muddy. Keaton didn't want his shorts to get wet so he hiked they up. I just love kids. haha

Except then it just got too hard to coordinate. HA
Afterwards, we went to the little farmer's market they have and got treats for the boys. Carson had a whoopie pie and the boys split a donut :)
