{35 weeks}

How Far Along: 35 weeks

Size of Baby: Honeydew melon {5.25 lbs & over 18" long }

Exercise: 4x {I think} I have been going about every other day because I've only been using the elliptical and hand bike....very easily I might add.

Maternity Clothes: Yep, pants and tops all the way!

Gender: he's a guy :)

Movement: All day long!

Sleep: This took a turn for the better! I can move from one side to the other without lots of pain, so that's been great! I get up a few times, but go right back to sleep :)

What I miss: I missed the memo that said to never order pizza from The Gas Station in Hummelstown. I'm sorry if you love their brick oven pizza, but I got it on Friday night, took one bite, and was like "woah -- this has no flavor." It was sad and unfortunate....it looked delicious! The crust was soggy and it seriously had NO flavor. None. Not even the next day! Ryan's french fries were awesome, but that's about it. Oh. And the apple...in my purse. See "Cravings" just below for the make-up portion of my dinner. Seriously though, this had nothing to do with being pregnant, Ryan ate the rest of the pizza the next day for lunch and agreed completely.

Cravings: Just hungry all.the.time. I did crave a chocolate & vanilla soft ice cream twist cone with sprinkles on Friday night, which I got in the form of peanut butter cups and cream custard with chocolate sprinkles from The Meadows. It did the trick!

Best Moment of the Week: See "Cravings" just above. Only kidding - although it was pretty delicious :) Ryan paid someone to cut his hair! This is usually my job and I hate it! I cried pregnancy and begged him to get it done somewhere - he unwillingly obliged and then mentioned his enjoyment of the hot towel around his neck at the end. Obviously, I don't do that. haha Ryan and I spent a lot of time together over the weekend which was really great! I love spending time with my BFF.

Baby Harris' kidneys are fully developed! His liver is also processing some waste products. His lungs are almost ready to go and if he was born today he would most likely be completely healthy! Phew - what a relief :) He's just putting on weight in there!

Good news on the Mom front is that my back is feeling a lot better! I've been trying to take it easy, but chores aren't feeling quite as hard/annoying since there isn't pain shooting down my leg....so it's hard to sit still for long periods of time.

I just have a few more things {for me} to buy and we'll be more than prepared.....in regards to baby "stuff!" I'll never feel fully prepared, but that's just part of being a new Mom {or 2nd or 3rd time Mom....I'm assuming!}  A lot of my friends and family have 1 or 2 kiddos at this point, so I need to keep reminding myself that they've all been in my shoes and it's OK if it's not as easy as they make it look right from the start!

Last night I was doing devotions and was reading the first few verses of Psalm 37:1-7 -- I was so overcome with joy, excitement, & gratitude. The reality of being pregnant I feel pretty much every minute these days, even though the idea of my pregnancy is still unreal. I know I'm not alone in this....growing a person is so surreal! But to think that God has made me a Mommy is so amazing! I feel Baby H kick and my heart could burst with love for him. I just feel so honored to have been given this opportunity. I'm sure when I have poop on my face and a crying baby in my arms I'll call out to God and ask him "why?." but until then I'm going to bask in the joy of having our son so literally close to my heart.

Hugs and kisses little man! It won't be long now....

You look great! You're almost there...I get chills just thinking of my daughter's birth. There is NOTHING cooler than becoming (officially) a mom! : )
