It started off Friday afternoon with a pedicure at my new favorite nail salon in Hersey, Finger Paint. The place is super clean and the woman who works there calls me "girlfriend" in her very good Chinese-English accent :0) I heart it!
I decided that since my feet are "special" and require professional attention to get them looking presentable for the summer it's worth the investment, so I treated myself!
I worked in the morning, but since the kids had a half day...I had a half day! I was able to leave around 11:45 and head right to the nail salon.
After the pedi, I stopped at the grocery store on my way home to get our weekly groceries.
I know how much Ryan hates going to the grocery store, so if I'm able to do it Friday and spend more time with him on Saturday I like to do it!
It worked out perfectly, because by the time I got home and walked with Phinley to the bank and back, Ryan was home! He got out a little early!
We realized earlier this week that we were eligible for phone upgrades so, of course, that was a priority for the weekend -- who doesn't like a new phone??
Tuesday evening we went to Verizon to see which ones we liked and try them out. I was still deciding between the Droid and Palm Pre when we got there, but when we left both Ryan and I had our eyes fixed on our new Droids!
Ryan wasn't planning on getting a Droid {you need a different package}, but when he realized it was just a few dollars more he splurged and got one! I knew deep down that's what he really wanted anyways :0p
Have you seen this phone before?

It's crazy. Absolutely out of control -- it can do everything {even change the channels on our tv!!}.
After the 2hours we spent there we headed to one of my favorite places for dinner, Sandella's! They make everything on flatbread! So good!

Friday night poor Phinley got the shaft and our new phones got all our attention. I'm still downloading all the free apps. It's like a mini-computer...very fancy for such an unfancy couple!
Saturday we went to a birthday party and Sunday Ryan studied while I cleaned, ran errands, and tried to keep my core temperature low.
It was just a wonderful weekend Ryan and I got to spend together!
