We actually got back from our Easter trip to NC last night around 10, but I was so exhausted and knew that I had to sub today so there was no way I was getting on the computer!
I had fabulous intentions of taking all kinds of pictures while we were down there, but I managed to just get a whole load of Phinley....go figure. I take more pictures of this cute little dog!
The trip down was a breeze. We made it in about 7hrs -- no traffic! Phinley was a little dream dog. Ryan and I were both a little worried about how he would like riding in the car for 7+hrs and he LOVED it.
He was a good backseat driver. No whining and lots of sleeping :0)
I'm not sure what's going on in this picture, but I like that I'm making a face and Phin is making the same face at me. haha

He had all his toys with him back there. Zanie and a donut -- what more could he want?
He loved being with Mom and Dad -- Mom spoiled him rotten! He was in treat heaven all weekend!
The day before Easter, my Poppy and Aunt Tracy came over from Washington, NC for an early Easter dinner. Since Ryan and I had to leave right after church on Sunday, we thought it would be nice to have our ham and extras then, rather than scarf it down after church.

The Easter bunny even came a little early! Ryan loves him some Sunkist Fruit Gems!!
He also loves poking fun of Phinley. He's not amused that Ryan's trying to give him bunny ears.

So is Phinley {I KNOW so many pictures of the dog....he's like our kid...I'm sorry!!!} 
We had a wonderful visit! 
I'm going to jump ahead a few days....
But not until tomorrow! I'm exhausted!
