She is due to have her first baby {a little boy!} at the beginning of May. He wanted to meet his Mom and Dad soooo badly that he tried to come early, but thankfully the doctors were able to hold him back.
Since he can't just wait patiently inside his Momma, she had to go on bed rest and just take it easy for a few more weeks until his lungs are strong enough to cry them awake in the middle of the night :0)
Isn't she too cute?! I know they're both so anxious to meet theie son {me too!} He'll be absolutely precious. {Jess I hope you don't mind I stole this picture from facebook!}
We just spent the afternoon talking -- it's what we do best and at one point I told her that Ryan and I were going to visit my parents over Easter in NC and how I wouldn't mind moving south because well, from all the blogs I read from those who live in the south, it looks like they have a pretty fun time...all the time!They wear dresses a lot! And go out for lunch a lot! And throw the most beautiful baby and bridal showers! And they monogram things {I love that!}! And they wear things with fringe and sparkles and bling bling baby!
And everyone is just so nice to one another!
My parents have made some wonderful friends since moving down south several years ago and each time we visit I get an itch to become a Southern Belle.
Maybe if I end up with an extra 10,512,000 minutes one year I'll start working on it.
We're leaving tonight and staying until Easter. It's the first time Phinley will be in the car for more than 2.5hours. Let's hope he sleeps and doesn't feel too lonely in the back seat -- I can only have him sit on my lap for 2hrs, then I get a little squished.
He probably doesn't feel squished at all...I'm sure my little cuddle dog loves it!
It's probably good that we are doing a majority of the driving in the dark, for Phinley's sake, because he loves being outside and if it's sunny outside he'll just want to do this....At least he doesn't get car sick, which is more than I can say for myself.
Recently I haven't been able to read anything in the car without feeling the need to, ummm, hurl.
>Friday night we were driving around looking for this flooring place before dinner and I decided to read the last couple pages of New Moon so we could watch the movie later that weekend. By the time we drove around and then got the restuarant I had my seat reclined and eyes shut because I thought I would lose it.
Even though Ryan told me I looked pale, which is usually a sure sign I'm going downhill fast, I held it together.
I always used to be able to read in the car -- what's happening to me?
