Dia Seis

Day 6 was another perfect day at the beach!

We got up extra early that day and managed to get under an umbrella with no one in front of us...it's unheard of!!! We went to be horribly early the night before, so we were up early and basically the first ones on the beach, but look at that view!

We love eachother -- a lot.

Oh it's just me straining to get in the picture -- I need longer arms! :0)

After breakfast we were finally able to go ocean kayaking! The waters were a bit rough the first several days, so we had been hoping and praying for yellow flags that morning.
We had a 2 person kayake and it was the best -- in my opinion the best thing we did on the trip! The water was so clear and it was so peaceful away from shore.

So after our bout of exercise we layed around some more.

That night for dinner we went to a Brazilian steak house called La Tortuga -- it was Ryan's pick. The last time I wore this dress was on our honeymoon, it brought back a lot of great memories! Almost 2 years now!
So at this restuarant you get an appetizer, all you can eat salad, rice, veggie, and meat meat meat. Each person had a card at their spot that was green on one side and red on the other. When you were ready to start getting the meat you turned your card to green, when you were stuffed you flipped it to red.
I was a very good sport and pretty excited to try some different meats, since it's not something I usually get when we go out. The servings weren't especially large, but by the waiters 3rd trip around I was getting pretty stuffed. I was holding out desperately for chicken, but by the time it made it I had already eaten several types of beef, ribs, sausage, turkey wrapped in bacon, and pineapple with a brown sugar glaze.
It was out of control.
Ryan was so excited he just said yes to everything the waiter brought and for the love would not flip over his card! He just kept eating and eating and eating. After each bite he said he was so full, but the man wouldn't stop! When he told me I might need to support him on the walk back to our hotel, I threatened to flip his card myself.
He was full all the way up to his eyes and in this picture it shows! He started sweating near the end...that's ridiculous.

I was happy as a clam and could even help Ryan finish his dessert! It did take my body about 3 solid days to digest all the meat, but I feel like a different {stronger} woman because of it!
