Dia Dos

We had a very detailed and specific plan for Day 2: get up at 7am and get to the beach ASAP.

It was crucial for me to make sure we got the very best beach chairs available and were in direct sunlight for at least 98% of the day.

This was fine for me, but not so fine for my very cute, hunkish, pasty white husband.

Here he is all ready for the first day at the beach....little did he know it would be the last time he went out in the sun without his shirt on {yeah, he got way burnt}.

This is us pre-beach {aka - pasty white} on our deck.

My view from our perfectly chosen chairs...

Gorgeous.
Catching some sun....

Getting dressed for dinner was a bit tricky. I brought a lot of pink colored tank-tops, but since my chest was scorched, I needed to pick something that covered, well....as much of my upper portion as possible. This was also the first and last night I wore my hair down to dinner {the combination of tram ride wind and humidity made it triple in size....not pretty and with the hairspray very sticky inbetween my fingers when I tried to calm it down}.

We didn't really do much that 2nd day other than sit at the beach, read, eat, and get burnt!
Here are some random pictures of the inside of our hotel lobby. This is looking out to where the vans, cars, trams, etc. would pull up to drop off and pick up guests.

When you entered the lobby you way this....yeah, wowser.

More to come...
