Dia Tres

Don't get too excited....Day 3 looks an awful lot like Day 2...we're just sunburnt in the pictures :0)

Our resort had pools all over the place, 2 being exceptionally close to our hotel room. One was the "party" pool....lots of music, games, and blue tequila that men in clown costumes shot directly into your mouth as danced around.

The other was the "relaxation" pool. It was, well, quiet and relaxing.

We partied a little the afternoon before, so this day we decided to relax in peace & quiet! Even though the resort asks people not to save lounge chairs, you always see them reserved with towels, books, and other nonsense. At first I was a little put off that people would drop their stuff, then just leave, but then I thought -- if you can't beat 'em, join 'em...so that's just what we did.

This pool is muy popular so I got up real early to reserve the very best seats...check out our view {that's the pool bar...I had diet coke endlessly at my fingertips!}.

Ryan's burn was pretty bad the day before, so he opted to wear a shirt for the remainder of the trip. I wasn't kidding when I said the picture you saw from "Dias Dos" would be the last of Ryan without a shirt on. Even in the shade he wore it.
Check out that guy in the picture behind Ryan. He managed to cut down an entire tree using a machete {spelling??} in about 30mins. It was amazing and very hot. I was a little worried he might get dehydrated or something, but he was fine. haha
We love the pool!

Dinner that night was a mexican restaurant called Tequila! We didn't eat until 8:30, which is way late for us so we stopped at the lobby bar for a little snack.

It's amazing how many people were hanging out at the lobby bar....that place was hopping! We just people watched and get nice and hungry for another huge dinner! I ate a whole bag worth of tortilla chips...I just know it!

Dinner always took over an hour, so when we finally finished gorging ourselves we just headed back to our hotel. I wasn't kidding when I said we ate and layed around a lot! The restuarant was on the other side of the resort, so we did some wild tram riding, but other than that it was a pretty quiet night!
