Phinley does stay in our upstairs master bathroom during the day when I sub, but other than that his cute little paws don't hit the nice clean carpet.
Ryan and I just thought Phinley didn't need to mosey around upstairs when he has the whole basement & kitchen area {he doesn't mosey around the upstairs living room either}. We both just want to teach him a little about what he's allowed to do in the areas we have set aside for him, before giving him free reign of the whole house!
But sometimes, I just need to go upstairs to do something and I don't necessarily want to put him in his crate -- this happened the other day.
I had to put some clothes into the dryer, which would only take a minute, but I couldn't trust Phin to wonder around without my direct supervision {on our very clean, never been peed on upstairs carpet} so I had to put him in an extra laundry bin.
I gave him specific instructions not to jump out, or move abruptly! haha
He listened like a champ and just hung out until I was done :0)
He's probably trying to decide if he can fit on that little piece of washer showing.
After I pulled him out I wanted to get his "after" expression. I was happy with the solution I came up with, he was rather upset and didn't even glance at the camera.
The next day I wanted to load some pictures on the computer in the office so Phinley had to sit on my lap the whole time! He liked this much better :0)
