The thing was a piece of crap. I'm sure Ryan got it at a great price -- el cheapo. Since he doesn't do the ironing anymore and I dread it tremendously, because a majority of the time I'm trying to keep the cover on and flat, I decided to splurge and buy a $10 one at Marshall's.
Here's the initial cover. Notice that thin piece of foam -- that's quality {yeah right}. The strings that were underneath it to keep it tight were also broken.
The new and improved! It's not only super cute, but well padded and has velcro straps underneath for a secure fit! Thanks Marshall's :0)

It's the little things in life that are worth getting excited about. I've been talking about getting a new ironing board cover for a year...what was I waiting for? Ah yes, a dreary rainy Monday afternoon -- it was just what I needed to boost my mood!
