I won't say anything more....enjoy the before & after pics!
Remember when that first load of supplies came shipped to our house on a flatbed truck at like 7am? We went to Home Depot approximately 100x over the last year - buying, returning, buying, returning, browsing, buying, returning, etc. I hate Home Depot. I always have and definitely always will.
Before: The stairwell was gross & very cement blockish.
After: The first landing you're greeted with a star..it's lighting your way to pure comfort below.
After: No more elbow burns...the cement blocks are gone! As you go down the stairs you approach the first accent wall - it's called Gold (something). Oh la la!
Before: Ryan is working to frame out the hallway wall.
After: Perfect job Ryan! This is what it says on the wall, "May our home know joy, each room hold laughter, every window open to great possibilities" Or a sliding door...since that's what we have down here :0)
After: This is the other side of that hallway - facing the same direction, toward the sliding doors.
Before: Looking down toward the stairs and accent wall. I don't see any closets - do you?
After: 3 closets!
Before: This isn't a true before, because you can see the canned lighting, but you get the idea! I might have a better one somewhere on my computer.
After: Holy big screen tv and sectional! Those sofas are soooo comfortable!
This is a picture of the other side of the sofas.
I have a lot more pictures, but don't want to over due right now...I have other things to get done today! I hope you've enjoyed what you were able to see. Of course, we need a few more things on the walls, but all the construction is done.
OH! My mom and I made the curtains. Pretty nice, huh? Thanks Mom :0)
Thank you Ryan, Stutz, Ben P., Nate S., Nate, and Dad for all your hard work down there...I'm lovin' it!!
More pics to come later...

Wow! Looks great. Can't wait to see the basement in person. Ryan is amazing- what a great accomplishment!
Your basement looks great, Erin! I'm glad all the hard work paid off and now you get to enjoy it!
I love, love it!! Can't wait to come and see it soon! :o)
Wow, Ryan!! You are a great carpenter! This is way beyond the do-it-yourself jobs. Erin, you do not need an interior decorator because you have the gift for it yourself. The basement is very nice!
