Can YOU Spy...

FYI: for some reason I can't get the blogger to space between certain paragraphs, so I had to do something like this (----------------------------) so you can see they are separated. Such a pain! Anyone know how to fix it?

This weekend our house experienced a few small changes/additions.

Can you find them?

Did you see the subtle new things that have been added/changed.
Oh...I'll tell you! Ryan put up a new light in our foyer!! Here is a picture of the old one....
It's gold, square, and I believe cost about 10 dollars for the contractor to put up. Nice huh? I'm so happy to see it go!
----------------------------------------------
The other addition is the pillows (striped and teal green) in our living room! I have been looking for new pillows for a long time and finally found some that were reasonably priced and had red, along with many other colors! I like red, but I was getting a little tired of it! Now - I can add some yellow, orange, light green, blue, etc. into the room! I think a large colorful vase will look great on one of the end tables AND it doesn't have to be only red or green!
-----------------------------------------------
I initally was looking for fabric to cover the pillows we got with our sofas (they were so ugly!), but the fabric cost so much $$ and I don't have a sewing machine or know how to sew. So there went that idea. Anyways - I'm so thankful for my friend, Jess, being so patient and willing to shop with me to find them on Friday!
-----------------------------------------------
She was also willing to go to Chick-Fil-A for lunch! I know I was just there on Tuesday, but I LOVE THE PLACE! The chicken and fruit salad is fabulous :0) Other than a lovely lunch we did some shopping, I gave her highlights (well tried o:-D), and chatted. It was a perfect afternoon.

BASEMENT UPDATE:
Ryan and his buddy, Stutz, put in a full day of dry walling on Saturday. Here are some fruits of their labor:
Hallway - done!

Closet at the bottom of the steps- done!

This area - done!

Another view of the hallway - done!

Ryan showing the camera how he really felt at that moment about blocking out that rotten pipe (and it is done!)

I'm so proud of all the hard work he's been doing on the basement! More to come as it really starts to get finished up!
