Today I'm scheduled to run 12 miles as part of my marathon training.
In September, of last year, I ran 13.1 miles in a half-marathon and thought it was really super can't believe I did it far. Now it's just a not-so-long Saturday run.
What the heck? Seriously.
I'm in a lot better shape then I was even then, but to be honest I'm a little nervous.
I don't think it would be quite so bad if we weren't surrounded by hills. They are everywhere! On one run I did several days ago I ran up a hill, then down a hill, up a hill, then down a hill. It was so annoying. I know they are good for training, but a girl can only take so many.
So we'll see how it goes today. I have a lot on my mind right now, so I'm sure I'll have plenty to fill the time.
When I get back and am eating (like a ppiiiiggg) I'll let you know how I made out!
