Home Decor

This weekend I decided to add/change some of our home decor while Ryan was in NJ for a World Series Phillies game on Sunday night. I didn't do anything radical, just added some items here and there. It's hard (and fun) trying to think of decorating ideas for an entire home. I'm taking it one room at a time and working to get them just right! Here are a few things we've recently added.

Ryan put up this set of frames and ledges while I was at work on Friday! He did a great job laying them out perfectly straight! I still need to put some Harris pictures in though :)

This is a picture of one wall in our downstairs bathroom. This was the first (of two) wall appliqués I put up. I was impressed at how easy it was and what a difference it made!


This is the second one. It's simple, but adds just a little some to catch the eye.

I'm always trying to think of new, small projects to work on and make our home more personal. The ultimate project is finishing the basement, but in the meantime I'm going to continue to add and move things around until it's all just right!

Other than doing some serious shopping this weekend...I have been watching T.V., eating apple pie and ice cream, working out a tiny bit, and doing laundry to keep me busy while Ryan is away. I'm so happy he got to go to the World Series! He's been talking about it ever since he got the tickets a week ago! He works so hard and deserves an exciting, fun night out with the guys!
