Welcome to Make Our House Monday: Week 3
Round up your hard hats folks.....they started digging this week!
It's really hard to imagine that this is the hole for the poured concrete walls, but it is! Just doesn't seem deep enough! In the back will be the walk-out basement -- you can see it right in front of the pine tree.
Here's Ryan scoping out our backyard. We weren't sure if we'd really have much space back there, but it looks promising. After a weekend with my Dad's chain saw we should have plenty of room :0)
Ryan on the "living side." He's standing along the wall where the family room will be. 
Garage to the right and front porch will be to the left. 
This week they are scheduled to pour the concrete walls and start waterproofing!

How exciting! That doesn't look deep at all - I'm impressed at how it all works together. Hopefully the next time we visit there will be walls to see!
