After we first got Phinley, friends of ours asked us what nicknames we were going to call him.
I laughed in their face and said, no nickname, we'll call him by his real name -- Phinley.
I'm eating my words. Big time.

Oh, you just wait Erin- it's amazing what nicknames kids 'give themselves.' They create them for themselves by their actions, appearance, etc.
