When Ryan asked me what was wrong I pointed to my hair. {bahaha!}
I was pouting because I wanted it loooong again!
Isn't that just the way it is girls? Get it short, want it long. Have it long, want it short. Serioulsy!
Well, I didn't just point. I whined about how I missed being able to put it in a pony tail and how everyone I know has long hair and how I can't believe I cut it so short because it wasn't that bad long!!
He listened for about .4 seconds then walked away saying "YOUR BEAUTIFUL AND I'M NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO THIS ANYMORE. WHO CARES WHO ELSE HAS LONG HAIR! I LOVE YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE"
Crap. He had such a good point!
Sometimes I look around at everyone else before I look at myself, then get highly disappointed when I see, well, me! It's ridiculous! I'm not everyone else, I'm me and I love myself...short hair and all!
Sometimes I just need to be reminded of how wonderful God created me -- how wonderful and unique He created all of us!
Isn't it awesome to know that God created each of us with our own flare and unique gifts?!?
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

What a great post! We all need that reminder every so often. I love your short hair - but it will grow out quickly so you can pony tail it up again soon. :o)
