Doesn't the day after Christmas always feel like a little bit of a let down??
There's so much excitement and preparation for the actual day, that when Christmas is over and we have another 364 more days until the next one, I can't help but usually feel a little ho hum.
Well, this year I'm taking a new approach. Christmas everyday!!
Isn't that what it is really about anyways? Knowing and accepting the fact that Jesus has come into this world to save us and love on us everyday - all throughout the year?.
That's what I'm going to try to keep in mind this new year. I'm going to try and focus on maintaining this "Christmas" joy even when it's blazing hot and humid outside, because well, I hope/expect to be just as excited that Jesus has come into this world then as I am now!!
Soooo...back to what I initially started this post for; what am I doing today?
Watching football {all day}
Watching the snow fall outside {all day}
Staying inside and bracing for the mini-blizzard coming our way
Searching for after Christmas sale items online
Eating cookies
Drinking tea
Eating cookies

We've spent the day resting up from all the excitement of the last few days. I've also had to do a little catch up with the laundry and cleaning, but the best part was playing around with my new Nook Color!
