So it might not be famous to you, but it's famous to my sister's and I....we love Mom's vegetable soup!
From the time I was little, I remember the fall day {once each year} when my Mom would create a ginormous batch of soup to carry us through the long, harsh northern PA winters!
It's hard to believe that this is the 3rd year in a row I'm making it! I think each time my hair was different too :0P
First you start off with the meats, which was Phin's favorite part! Oh he got so excited! He darted to the kitchen when he saw {and smelled} the rump roast!! I've never seen his little noise hit the counter that fast. Fortunately, for us, the very top of his noise touches the very bottom of the counter so there's no way he could get any on his own.
And even though he tried for the scraps in the trash -- there was no way I was letting him eat raw meat! Nice try Phin dog. Look at those back legs stretch!
It was amazing how quick the whole process was for me this time around.
Before I knew it, I had a yummy smelling pot of boiling veggie soup!
Hmmmm...smells soooo good!
And it tasted SO GOOD! I'm getting a little better each year -- Ryan thinks so too!
Good thing I made a lot!

YUM! Veggie soup is so, so good!! We just finished the batch I made over the summer, so it's about time for more. :o)
