project finished!

Any ideas what the project was?

It was something that I've wanted to do for a while, but not something we really needed to do...you know those things.

Well, due to a lucky find in my Dad's underwear drawer {a savings bond -- for ME! -- from several years ago} I was able to get it done!

We have had a spare bedroom with a twin size bed and double futon. The futon was great and had a really large comfy mattress, but not really large enough for 2 adults. And the twin was, well...a twin -- great for one person, but not the couples that usually stay with us!

So we sold the futon and bought a queen size mattress! Now we have an official spare bedroom! It's the little things like queen size mattresses that get me excited these days :0) It's just so nice to know that if we have guests they'll be able to sleep in the same room, in the same bed! Wow...what a concept!

The queen mattress ready to make it's entrance, but without quite enough room right now.

It's in! With bedding! But not everything is quite ready yet {that teal pillow is going back -- doesn't match! Too bad, Ryan picked it out and everything!}

Before the mattress was people ready, Ryan had to add a few blocks for support. The twin mattress is stored underneath, so for right now we have bed elevators and they needed leveled out a bit. Don't worry, it's safe!

Phinley just had to help Ryan -- see his little butt?

I'm more than excited about the change!

And it's done!!

Thanks Emily for wishing the mail would be quick...we ordered the bed elevators on Sunday and they came today!
