Happy Memorial Day Weekend {the day after!}

Ryan and I had a great weekend together!

Friday, after subbing, I went and got my hair cut and colored. I love it long, but it's just so much to take care of. I have little patience when doing/styling my hair, so the easier and quicker the better!

When it was long I said over and over that I was just going to let it keep growing and not cut it! Ever! haha That didn't last long. The first time I was blow drying my hair and started to sweat {right after my shower} I thought about how nice it would be to have shorter locks! I love having it long for weddings, church, special occasions, etc. but for summer day camp -- not so much!

Not drastic, but definitely shorter!

Saturday morning I went for a 6 mile run, then Ryan and I headed to Pinchot State Park to go do camping with a group from church!

A lot of them stayed overnight from Fri-Mon, but since we had to leave Phinley at home, we just went during the day Sat. and Sun. The weather was gorgeous and we had a super fun time! It was such a blessing to fellowship with friends from church! We say over and over again how lucky we are to have found such an amazing church and amazing friends! We are blessed!

We didn't do much more than play a little volleyball, frisbee golf {Ryan did this}, eat, talk, and sit on the beach by the lake! I'm not much of a camper, so the day trips were perfect for me!

On Monday, I spent the whole morning cleaning the house! We were gone the weekend before, so it had been a while I hit each room with the duster and vacuum! It felt good to get the laundry done and everything freshened up!
