deer sighting

Ryan and Phinley had an afternoon together on Friday.

When I got to chat with Ryan after work one of the first things he told me was that a deer was in our backyard!

We live in a townhouse development and have a primo spot with a wooded lot behind our house so we've seen bunnies, turtles, etc., but never any deer!
He then proceeded to tell me that he rushed Phinley out onto our deck so he could see it, which really made me question the whole "I don't love him" act he puts on. He loves him -- why else would he want to share this special sighting with him?

Apparently, Phinley just watched it...

No barks, no whines, just simply watched....

Enamored by it's beauty no doubt. He was probably hoping it would hop up onto our deck and play with him! He loves attention and new friends!
