Ryan and I were walking the Phinster when all the sudden Ryan said "I'm going to run with Phinley" and they took off.
I run with him a lot in the morning {just around the block} and it's pretty tricky. He tends to just stop in the middle of the sidewalk, cut in front of you, ensure his leash is right under your feet so you trip, etc. Knowing this I yelled "don't fall!"...
And then BAM.....Phinley stopped right in front of Ryan, so instead of crushing him, Ryan tried to jump over him but then he got caught on his leash and did a chin dive towards the sidewalk and grass.
I inappropriately started to laugh {I'm a terrible wife}, then went to see the damage. I didn't see him hit his chin on the pavement -- all I saw were feet flying in the air and Ryan landing on the grass.
Needless to say he did hit his chin and got a pretty yucky scrap.
This is what it looked like after a good hard clean....
