I guess all good things must come to an end eventually -- we couldn't stay in Mexico forever!
We decided early on that our last full day was going to be spent relaxing to the max by the relaxation pool.
I got up early {again} to make sure we got prime chairs....not too far from the bar, or bathrooms, or snack hut. And not right in the line of foot traffic -- even at 7:30 there were still only a few spots left, perfect spots that is, but don't worry I got one!
Another reason we decided on the relaxation pool was because they offer free scuba diving try outs all morning. You can put the gear on and swim around the pool to see if you like it. I've always wanted to try scuba diving and this was the perfect way to do it without the commitment of taking a lesson and paying someone to take you out to sea.
We contemplated doing the full package: lesson & boat trip out to see turtles in the ocean, but it was just so last minute and not something we really planned to do....so we opted to lay by the pool instead. I was okay with it because it gave me a chance to finish Twilight.
Have you ever finished the first book in a series and didn't have the next one? It's stupid not to bring the next one even if you don't think you'll finish the first, just in case! I had to wait days to start New Moon.
Ugh, anyways.
Ryan had a little friend hanging with him in the morning. Can you see him?
I don't have many pictures from this day because we seriously did just lay by the pool. I wish I would have gotten some of us with the scuba gear on -- maybe next time. :0)
After our last full day in the sun {the weather was gorgeous the whole trip!!} we headed off to our last resturant dinner, Mikado Japanese Steak House.
We actually have Mikado around here and this one was very similar...the service was just better :0)
