Dia Cuatro

Day 4 (Friday)

When you're on vacation {and doing it well} it's inevitable that at some point you ask someone what day it is...I'm awesome at taking vacations and forgot several times when we even arrived. Time stood still the moment I hopped in the car to head to the Baltimore airport. It was fabulous. Anyways, we're onto day 4 of our trip, or last Friday for you all at home.

It was beach day! Since the Day 1 sunburn it was important to get up early again and hit the beach so we could secure a good umbrella spot! I liked a little sun and Ryan likes all shade, so we had to find one with both -- tricky, but doeable. Of course, we found the perfect spot.

The beach had several docks you could walk out on. This one was pretty short, but it was fun to be over the clear blue water.

Here's my hottie.

Oh la la la, nice one Erin! hahaha

This is the line of beach we were on. This direction faced Cancun.

You can see the resort behind all the palm trees. That was the 2nd one closest to ours. Hotel Coba {where we stayed} was the furthest from beach, but the newest and nicest. It was only a 3min tram ride away!

Say what? Ryan doesn't have a shirt on?? He just got back from snorkeling. I was going to go, but the idea of being 1/2 under water and not being able to see if there were sharks about to nibble on my toes scared me. I got plenty of snorkeling in, in the Cayman Islands last year!

Packing up our snorkel gear. Ryan bought us some for our honeymoon, so now when we travel to exotic beach locations we have our own personal equipment to use, because we're such avid snorkelers...haha! I'm sure mine will never get used again, at least he got a good deal on them! He's too funny! Who travels with their own snorkel gear??

This was what I had to look at all day :0)

This was the day I also started to read Twilight! My sister recommended it as an easy and fun read so I thought I'd give it a try. I really liked it! It was finished by the end of our trip and now I'm onto New Moon....I can't believe I've joined the Twilight craze.

Since the first few days we just relaxed in our room after dinner, we thought this night we would check out one of the shows the resort puts on each night. Unfortunately, it was Michael Jackson.

Neither Ryan or I are huge Michael Jackson fans, but we thought it might be interesting so we checked it out. It was horrible. Loud and totally not or kinda thing. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying it, but I just couldn't take more than 5mins so we left early...hehe.

So we went to the Music Bar instead, except there was no music. hahaha It was still nice to just sit and chat.

It's amazing how tiring it can be laying in the sun and eating all day! We were exhausted each night! :0)
