What can I say -- he's kind of been the only thing going on at our house over the last couple of weeks.
He loves living with us, I can just tell. What's not to love? He goes for long walks, eats treats, gets fed everyday, has a cozy crate, lots of toys, and gets tons of hugs and kisses from me everyday!!
Ryan hasn't given him hugs or kisses yet, but I know he will soon :0)
He was really spoiled the week of, and after Christmas. There were lots of people around giving him all kinds of attention, namely my Mom and Dad. Phinley liked to get cozy with my Mom on the sofa. Even though in this picture it looks like she's holding him there, she's not. She's just giving him a light touch as he takes his nap. He loved laying with my parents on the sofa!
Phinley also loves this gorilla toy that our friend Nate got for him for Christmas. He loves this thing! He goes crazy when he plays with it and squeeks it like crazy! Ryan's mom made me laugh over Christmas when she said it's perfect because he can chew all his body parts (tail, head, nose, legs, arms) hahahaThis is Mr. Gorilla right before Phinley pounced on him.
Right for the face...nice job Phinley! Show Mr. Gorilla who's boss!
Phinley also likes to be close to me and cuddle. My favorite is when I'm holding him and he wraps his little paws around my next :0) Actually, he's lying next to me snoozing right this instant!
He's also wild about long walks! He goes to my jacket, paws it, then goes to the door. It's like he's saying....common Erin, get your coat and let's go! haha He's precious.
Ryan helped me give him a bath today....what an adventure. The poor thing looked like a drownded rat, but at least now he's fluffy and all pretty for Puppy K tonight! We'll let you know how it goes!

Ryan's mom's comment made me laugh because Katy has a toy like that (a stuffed lion). It was the first toy my mom and I bought her as a puppy and my mom picked it for the exact same reason - there are lots of things to chew on and she can chew on everything! It is still her absolute favorite toy. She digs in the toy basket and usually gets all silly when she comes into a room and sees it laying there. It's also the only toy she is protective of when it comes to Callie!
