After a long weekend of traveling and weddings I thought I should celebrate by going to Ikea with my friend Ashley. She drove us down to Baltimore so we could shop shop shop at one of our favorite stores!
Of course, we were overwhelmed and wanted everything at first, but I luckily I was able to narrow it down.
Some of my good finds include a rather inexpensive set of end tables and a coffee table for our basement, this awesome tea bag holder, and a glass pitcher! It was a very successful trip if you ask me.
I wanted to get some more decorations (wall art, lamps, etc.) for the basement, but it was hard knowing what to pick out until we pick a paint color and carpet. I know that I will find many things once they are picked out though!
Even though I had lots of laundry and stuff to do at home, it was fabulous getting away with my dear friend for an afternoon. We also hit up Chick-Fil-A for lunch...my favorite!! Doesn't get much better than that!!

Drew and I have to plan a trip to the Pittsburgh Ikea now -- I want to go! I haven't been in so long and it really is a great place to get little things like containers. We're looking for a bookcase for the bean -- did you see anything like that?
Yes they do have many bookcases! You definitely need to take a trip and look at all their good stuff! Make sure to take your big car in case you find something!
