Welcome to Make Our House Monday: Week 10

We're coming to the home stretch....that's right folks, we've moving in less than 2 weeks! Eeek! So excited :0D

Here are last weeks pictures of the progress....

Notice the black hardware on the garage doors, now they look officially like carriage doors!

We have a banister and hardwood floors! The floors are in, just hiding under all the flattened boxes. I was very pleased with the way the stain on the railing looked against the floors. It's so hard to tell what will look nice when you're choosing from 1" samples!

My personal favorite....the kitchen :0) We just bought the fridge this week...it's beautiful 0:-)

I'm so glad we decided to get the lights above the island. They fill the space up nicely and will add a lot of light!

Pocket door anyone? Oh! Yes please. I love pocket doors because they add so much character to a house. It's like a little secret, hiding in the wall :0)

And again from the end of the hallway.

Dining room. I'm not super crazy jump up and down excited about this light fixture, but it's always something we can replace down the road!

Master bathroom vanity and lights. We opted to get the vanity raised and extended...it's a whooping 6' long! That might not be long to some people, but to us it goes on forever!

This week is the really fun stuff like carpet, mirrors, bath accessories, driveway, GRANITE top, etc!! Can't wait!
