I married an engineer, which means he only does things one way: the right way.

The other afternoon I asked Ryan to make rice crispy treats for this coming weekend.

He looked up the recipe online, got started melting the butter, and then noticed that it called for a 10oz bag of large marshmellows. Well, I bought a 16oz bag, so when I saw all the mellows stacked like this....

I asked him what in the world he was doing. He said the recipe called for 1-10oz or 40 marshmellows, so he counted them out.

He mentioned the bag size difference when he first started and I told him just to throw most of the bag in and leave some was no big deal.

Ha. Guess that wasn't good enough!

I totally understand Erin... only the wife of another engineer can possibly see where what Ryan did was completely normal and expected. :) Gotta Love Him! Mom
