Well he went to see Tom at Petco this weekend for a new summer look. I gave Tom strict instructions to get all the tangles out of his hair, use the scissors around the face if possible, don't shave anywhere unless he absolutely needs to, and most importantly....keep him looking just as adorable and cute as he is right now.Tom claimed to have a lot of experience, so I was confident when I went to pick him up Phinley would smell delicious, look clean, and have a no tangle fresh new look.
No tangle fresh new look is right....I was shocked!
My little sweet cuddly teddy bear puppy looked like a shaved rat turd -- that's right I said turd!
Of course, he's the same ol' Phin, but the innocence and cuddliness is gone. His legs look extra skinny and his tail has long hair {it's weird}.
I haven't taken many pictures of his new do because honestly I want to reserve all pictures of Phinley for his very most custest, precious moments. Ryan keeps telling me he doesn't even know he had a hair cut, but I don't believe him, so I've been giving him extra love and attention.
I'll try to get some more full body shots, but for now this will have to do.
Phinley! Where did all the cute hairs go from around your face? Oh, your Mom told Tom to cut them all off?
Don't feel bad...
It will grow back.

I can't believe I haven't said this yet, but Phinley looks exactly like Zeus (the dog who comes and plays with our dogs every day). Zeus is a yorkie/fox terrier mix I think and they seriously could be twins. I need to take a picture of him to show you...it's too funny!!
