sweet Phinley

Ryan and I take turns taking care of Phinley throughout the day.

I take care of him in the morning and Ryan takes care of him after he gets home from work. Since I'm around quite a bit more than Ryan, Phinley and I spend a lot more time together. He's just the cutest and sweetest little dog {ever} so I don't mind!

Last night, after we got home from church, Ryan took Phinley downstairs to go outside and hang with him for a bit until he put him in his crate for the night.

I stayed upstairs and got ready for bed.

When Ryan came back up I asked how things went downstairs and he said, "all Phinley did was sit at the top of the basement steps waiting for you! He didn't want to have anything to do with me."

Me: "Did you try to play with him...like with his hedgehog or beaver? He loves those!"
Ryan: "Yes, I tried everything. He took his busy bone {a delicious bone filled with a yummy meat treat} up there and chewed on it....by the basement door!"
Me: "Awww...really?"

Ryan just shook his head.

Isn't that the cutest? Ryan tells me all the time Phinley waits for me at the top of the basement stairs and most of the time when I'm upstairs and then go down, he's there waiting for me, but he's never taken his toys up there and settled in!

I love that little dog :0)

Have a great weekend! Ryan and I are going to a conference thing with our church tonight and Sat. morning, then Ryan's putting together the humungo desk we ordered last week! Who knows where we're going to put it! I also have about a million things on my to-do list before we go to Mexico NEXT WEEK!
