with a name tag in it. It's nice because if you're chatting with someone you met only a week ago and completely blank out on who they are, you can glance at their name tag and breath easy.
We're encouraged to leave our name tags at the church when we leave so they're always there and we can wear them every week. This past week Ryan and I decided to be rebels and slip our badges into our pockets, rather than put them back on the table.
Today, I couldn't have been more glad that I did.
The sun finally started to peek out a bit this afternoon so I decided to take Phinley for a little walk around the small loop in our developement. When he got to the furtherest spot from our house he decided he just had to take a poo.
Usually I get all excited, because he's still a puppy and pooing outside is good news, but when we left for our walk I didn't put on my usual jacket {with poo bags}, I put on my nice one {without poo bags.}
Can you guess what's going to happen next?
I could not just walk away and leave his poop sitting there....I hate it when people don't scoop up after a their dog! I glanced around to see if maybe I would luck out and spot some trash I could use to scoop it up, but there was only snow. Go figure. The day I could have really used some liter and there wasn't any!
I was staring at the poo and slowly reached into my pocket just praying a plastic baggie would appear, but all I had was my Alpha badge from the night before.
If you've ever doubted you could fit a small dogs poo into a name badge then I'm hear to say loud and clear -- You Can! And I did.
