Ryan was home for the whole weekend and I think Phinley found his new best friend. Phinley hasn't been around Ryan for a few days in a row and didn't know, until now, what he was missing! Those 2 spent the whole weekend together!
They went for walks around the developement.
Here they come.....
When Phinley saw me I think, he thought, I had a treat so he bolted toward me and in less than 5 secs he was this close...Woah...hey, Phin!
Right by Ryan's feet. He was practicing his tricks/skills -- he's getting there :0)
Ryan told Phinley that if he did well walking on his leash he would give him a suprise.....Ryan always keeps his promises and moments after they got back Phinley got Beaver!!
I saw Beaver at Wal-Mart and knew right away Phinley would LOVE it! He went wild!
So wild that he just tuckered himself right out!
That was all on Saturday.On Sunday, Ryan took care of Phinley while I went to the gym before church....it was so nice to not have to take him out early in the morning {thanks Ryan!}
When I left for the gym I told Ryan that as soon as he got up he might want to take Phinley out, because he'd really have to go! As soon as I got back from the gym I ran upstairs to see if Ryan had let poor little Phinley out to "get busy" that's what we say when we want him to go potty.
Ryan was shocked and said "of course I let him out!" He not only let him out, but they played for a bit and went for a walk. The very best part was when Ryan said he left music on downstairs so Phin didn't get lonely, while he was getting showered and ready for church.
Isn't that the sweetest? Ryan is such a loving and sweet man....even to our little dog :0)
After church we were pretty busy getting things done around the house. Phinley followed Ryan around most of the day, except for when Ryan got a haircut. I'm pretty certain a little dog and Ryan's hair would have been a nasty combination.
He helped/supervised him hanging some pictures up in our basement.
Then they just relaxed together on the sofa :0) I love those two.
Phinley is also so good when Ryan is around -- he's hardly naughty at all! I guess he has a new buddy :0)

Thanks Emily! He is so very cute and well behaved! He does his naughty dog things from time to time, but he's still learning and overall well-behaved! I can't wait for you to meet him one day. He will love you and lick you and beg for treats (he loves them!).
