Lydia, her son Cohen, and I headed to Elizabethville first thing this morning to pick him up. He smelled fresh and clean too...they took very good care of him while I was in Ohio!
He did pretty well on the ride home. He cried, then Cohen cried, then he cried, then Cohen cried and so on, then they both fell asleep!
This was after Phinley threw up the 2 biscuits I gave him and worked very hard to get that nasty blanket as far away from him in his little crate as he possibly could. haha It was pretty funny watching him maneauver that blanket...no one likes to sleep on their throw-up...gross!
So today we've been learning to pee outside, even though he hasn't yet, but he hasn't peed inside either so I can't complain! We've also been learning to be in our crate and not bark or whine...this is happening right now. Score :0)
We've also been cuddling and getting our picture taken.
Phinley upstairs for the first time. I had to carry him up the stairs...he couldn't make it on his own. hahah

Phinley likes the recliner sofa as much as Ryan!
That walk sure tired him out!
Let's hope (and say many prayers) that Phinley sleeps soundly in his crate tonight!!

Yay! Congrats on your new addition. I was thinking about you today and hoping your first day with Philey was going well.
How much does he weigh/how old is he? He looks bigger than what I pictured when you said his breed. Hope everyone gets some sleep tonight!!! :)
He's so cute!
He just went to the vet this morning and weighs 9lbs. The vet was quite the experience...haha! I do think he'll be on the larger side - maybe he won't get much bigger than this! Let's hope :0) If he does, we'll still love him!
He is 14 weeks, which is a little older than when most pups come home, around 8 weeks. He is healthy and trying to learn how to pee outside!!!
