Grown Up Christmas List

Christmas is less than one week away!

Do you have your shopping done yet?

I do! I've had it done for, ummm, just a few weeks now. I've been done since early November :0)

Actually, that's not entirely true, Ryan and I just bought his parents (;-) the second part of their present last Saturday! I hope everyone else in the greater Harrisburg area is done because it sounds like there is snow snow snow all over the place now!

I've had my Christmas list made and sent to appropriate family since early October, but over the last couple of weeks (since the stupid outtage started) it's changed quite a bit.

I really just want *two* things.

Here's my new list in particular order:

1) Ryan having off on Christmas day. I can't imagine waking up and being alone on Christmas morning...I get depressed just thinking about it. However, I know that God is very good to us and allows us to experience things for a reason. If Ryan does have to work, I know it's only part of God's plan for my life -- developing my character and allowing me to experience something that may perhaps help me to be more empathetic in the future.

2) Get a puppy...OH WAIT! I'm already getting this one. This is Ryan's big Christmas gift to me this year! He lucked out because he doesn't have time to shop this season and he doesn't have too...I picked out Phinley myself! I'm going to pick him up Tuesday!

Those are the 2 big things, and since I already have the 2nd it looks like I really just want one thing this year! That's not asking too much....if you ask me :0)

Anyways, I have been a very good girl this year, so I'm hoping and praying I get my Ryan (and his family) for Christmas this year!
