Christmas at the Harris House

I can't believe that Christmas is over!

Ryan and I had a fabulous time at the Harris' this year. Last year we were at my parents, so this year it was our turn to be with Ryan's family.

It was different, but still really wonderful to be with family. My family has gone through a lot of changes over the last couple of years, so I've been getting used to things, not being exactly how they used to be growing up. It was hard not being with my parents on Christmas morning, but I was excited to be with Ryan and his family. We had a lot of fun and I didn't feel like I missed out on any of my family's traditions -- we have new ones now with his side!

Ryan and I on Christmas morning!

The gifts are set out in piles (each person has their spot..mine was on the rocking chair) and covered so no one can peek! This is what it looked like before we dove in :0)

Before presents we had a big breakfast...I was so hungry and it was so good!!
Lynn getting the hash browns ready!

Ryan is so particular and careful with every job he does. It was his job to get the eggs ready....he saw a very small itsy bitsy piece of a egg shell and had to get it out! He's so focused!

He's such a hard worker! I love how helpful he is in the kitchen :0)

After breakfast we opened presents! Ryan got a new Wii game...he was soooo excited!

Darren and Kasie surrounded by their gifts!

Jason and Marissa gave Shannon a princess tiara...haha! She loved it!
Ryan got a Handyman magazine subscription -- he is pretty handy! It was so funny because Marissa and I both said that our Dad's get the magazine...haha!

Ladder golf game! Outside game party at our house!

Marissa likes puzzles!

Jason likes coffee...he got a Keurig (spelling??)

I got more animals and the STAR BACKDROP (I love it!) for my Willow Tree nativity set.

Phinley was overwhelmed with excitment...he's been through a lot in the last couple of days! New home, long car ride, meeting a new dog cousin, staying overnight in a bathroom, celebrating Christmas, learning how to pee outside, meeting lots of people!

I had a wonderful, memorable Christmas! We are so blessed to have such great family and friends to celebrate with!
