Big Stretch

I've been working out for quite some time now.

I usually try to get up before work and squeeze in sometime on the elliptical, go to a spinning class, or take a slow jog on the treadmill (running at 5:45am is so hard to do!).

Of course, my primary goal is to get in and get out, because although I enjoy it (to some degree) I would really just like to have dessert that night and want to get in that calorie burn! In my opinion, why daddle?

The one huge flaw with that is, I don't stretch very often. I would warm up and cool down (sometimes), but once that was done...I was out of there!!! Until I met...


True Stretch.

This thing is amazing.

I was a little intimidated by it's cage like appearance at first, but once I stepped inside and started following some of the stretchs I felt like a whole new person!

There are so many benefits to stretching -- I'm not sure why I wasn't doing it before. Oh, that's right, I thought it was a waste of time. Not anymore!!

Even though I feel a bit monekyish inside this beast, I feel so great when I'm done. I love stretching out my back, which gets stiff quite a bit. I just hang there :0) I do get nervous that if I move to quickly it will flip over on me and pin me to the ground, like an actual cage, but I'm sure that won't ever happen....I'm not that strong!
